A very dear friend of mine has been diagnosed with nephritis - apparently the little "villi" in her kidneys are not functioning properly and she's losing lots of protein in her urine. Her doctors don't really answer questions and have her on a high dose of cortisone for 3 months in the hope that there may be some remission!?
