I believe that as a general rule it kills those that are single cell, but does
not kill those that are multicell although there are likely exceptions to
this.  In some cases it can kill those that are multicell if they require
single cell organisms for digestion by starving them.  For instance I proved
that if you feed CS to honey bees it will kill the parasites on the bees, but
also kills the bees by starving them both.
