Hi Arnold, I read the paper on the UL that you listed. It has to do with growing large sized silver prisims of 100 nm. This is away beyond what we make as electro-colloid.
I have a T.E.M.made by the Univ. of Texas of crystal clear CS that has particles from 18 nmto 86 nm. To think that one can judge particle size by color is a gross error.
