Hello List, For those interested in building such devices, I HIGHLY suggest you do a search on the Savonius turbine. It works no matter which way the wind is blowing, is much more efficient, is VERY easy to build from scrap, and devleops quite a bit of torque. You can find various applications all over the web, including electric generators, water pumps, etc.
