There is of course no way that one can completely avoid EM contamination.
And some EM frequencies are very beneficial of course, such as the light
from the sun.

However, some EM emissions are very toxic. I was getting quite ill from
sitting at my computer for long periods of time. I finally bought a
virtually completely shielded monitor--the emissions were WAY below the
Swedish standards--and felt much better.
