Terry (a HVDC person) replies, Actually, before the current gets any higher than 20 ma, the batch is done (3 quarts of DW mixed with one quart of CS in a 1-gallon pickle jar, brewed for one hour). Rather than resembling mud, it is crystal clear, about 12-15 ppm. Set it in a window to sit in the sun all day everyday in a clear container, it finally started to turn a slight yellow 20 months later. Ole Bob, after testing it, pronounced my CS to be "very good CS", with very little Tyndale Effect and very small particles. I sell this CS to 3 pharmacies, 3 Naturopathic doctors and 75+ HF stores across Canada, and the reports that come back to me are amazing. The wires should be as far apart as the jar will allow, about 5 1/2" apart. Any closer and they dissolve faster, kind of a controlled short. This method enables you to make one gallon at a time, or, with more pickle jars (I use 10), as much as you want. The variables that effect quality are the purity of the water and the cleanliness of the jars (which, of course, effects the purity of the water). If I brew it more than one hour, the CS turns yellow by the next day, and has a bitter taste. This process is so duplicable, I make batch after batch, day after day, with the same consistent product. I pay no attention to current, stirring, heating, etc. I have a machine that measures voltage and current while giving me up to 600 volts, but I find that 110-120 VDC turns out one gallon of high-quality CS every time. Recently, a doctor friend of mine, who was at the nearby military base, told me how she had a patient with Herpes Simplex virus in his eyes, a problem of much concern (the herpes virus can blind you). She told her patient to put drops of my CS in his eyes every 2 hours. Herpes was gone overnight.
