Hi Willy,
Agglomeration is when silver particles clump together and form larger
clusters of atoms. They are called colloidal. Some of the atoms will stay
as single atoms and they are called ionic. Your mix is probably somewhere
in the range of 70-90% ionic and 10-30% colloidal. When the clusters
become large enough to reflect yellow light, it is usually a sign of too
much agglomeration and you aren't getting as much bang for the buck. Best
to keep your CS in the clear range. That way you get the most particles
for a given measure of water.

voltage starting at 52V. as soon as the 2.5 ma was reached the voltage
dropped slowly till I stopped it manually at 6.5V. I have a good TE. It is
clear like water is not visible yellow. Time not really recorded.

forever to make any colloidal gold. The atoms are too tightly bound to be
separated with LVDC. It requires high voltages such as a neon transformer
and considerable current.
Your constant current generator description is about what we do with our
automatic units. I'm sure the list members will be pleased to see
your schematic diagram. My feeling is that 2.5 ma. is a bit high with
your electrode size. Do you get agglomeration? If so, try reducing the
current level.
Welcome to the group. You will learn a lot or you will help others a
lot. In any case this is a good list to be part of.
Don't worry about spelling. Many on the list are not the best at spelling
but they get the point across.
