I will sell you 100% CMO for $5 gram in 20 gram lots, loose. One tenth the
MLM price.
This product is made by plugging cetyl alcohol into
myristoleic(esterfication).
Osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis have traditionally had no 5 grams
of Cetyl Myristate (not same as cetyl
myristoleate), $225.00, $9.00
CM PLUS
*GM Gold, 10.8 grams,

AND A CAVEAT: (a word on lipase)
Ok, Recall that cetyl myrstoleate is a fatty acid ester.
Although Natrol States that their product was developed with the help of
Dr.
Cochran, their
recommendation is opposite that of the doctor's. From their own website:
"Q: Is it necessary to take CetylPure with lipase?
A: No. Lipase breaks triglycerides (the most commonly found fat in the
body)
into glycerol &
fatty acid esters. CetylPureT is already esterified. It needs to be
absorbed
by the body intact."
AND (also from their website):
"As with any oil, cetyl myristoleate requires lipase to be digested.
Lipases
are pancreatic enzymes
that play a key role in the digestion of fats and fat soluble vitamins. If
lipase is absent or deficient,
cetyl myristoleate will be poorly absorbed, if at all. As many arthritis
patients are of the age when
lipase production decreases, approximately 100 mg of lipase enzyme should
be
taken with each
cetyl myristoleate capsule. In addition to taking lipase, cholecystectomy
patients will need lecithin
or ox bile extract to assure absorption." (A Sponsored Article by Dr.
Charles Cochran and
Dr. Raymond Dent September 1997)
In final analysis, the lipase won't harm an already estrified oil, so if
Natrol is wrong and you really
do need it at least you have it. If they're right and you don't need it,
all
you're wasting is the cheap
enzyme capsule and the much more expensive cetyl compound will still work.
