I use a natural sweetener, 1000 times sweeter than sugar, Stevia. It comes from the Stevia plant and has been used for a very long time in Asia. It comes in a refined clear liquid, white powder (Wisdom of the Ancients, Stevita), or even a natural green powder that is the ground leaves. I also have bought drink mixes- lemon, cherry, grape, orange that are made with natural flavors. It can also be used in cooking and there are cookbooks in print for its use.
I'm hoping that now that it can be bought legally and is increasing in usage it will make it into some commercial soft drinks soon.
