Dear Janet,
I believe the active agent hat you are referring to is
Iridium-192....a gamma ray source for treating a series of threatening
afflictions-----among them, prostate cancer and in-stent restenosis. The
systemic challenge of such powerful "insultors" should give one serious
pause......before undertaking such protocols; or so I feel.
There is definitive evidence that such protocols, do in fact,
diffuse blockages, etc.,-----but other, more benign methods beckon for ones
attention......at least prior to such irradiations.
