Hi Darcie; Dandelions tend to do that at night. (gosh you must be in a warm spot to have a dandelion at this time of year) You might have better results filling the hollow stem. Now with Delphiniums have hollow stems, you would tip the stem to 45 degrees and slowly add water along the edge to fill in the space hold finger on it and place in vase and flowers will last longer that way. Check the section on getting delphiniums ready to show that has the illustration for the filling the stem. http://www.raw-connections.com/garden/showing/conditio.htm OR Pick a flower with out a hollow stem and start the experiment over with something like a couple of daffodils.

Many thanks to all of you! It looks like I have a lot to learn. I thought I already did all the reseacrh I could regarding Lyme and now I found this group. I am so tired of being sick......... I bought the stuff to make my own colloidal silver. I am waiting for my .999 silver to be sent to me via mail. So today I thought I would try to buy some from our local health food store. $14.95 for 2 ounces! well I did buy it anyway. I started an experiment. I cut 2 dandelion flowers. Placed one in tap water and one in CS water (that I bought) after about 6 hours, the one in tap water looks much better. The one in cs water seems to be closing up? What's up with that? I will look at my flowers in the morning and see if there are any changes......... Thanks again for all your help, Darcie --- Marshall Dudley <[email protected]> wrote: > Darcie wrote: > > > Hello all, > > > > I am glad to have found this group!
