Dear Kevin, First, let me state that we did not attempt to replicate all of Schauberger's works; confining ourselves, primarily, to about three areas; these being, his work on the dynamics of vortices (especially modulation of flow characteristics), structural changes resulting from physical/magnetic manipulations, etc.; the evocation of subtle energies from physical, non-moving vortices manufactured from copper and/or zinc-phosphor compounds (actually, hollow tubes filled with water prepared via techniques as close to Schauberger's delineations of "implosion"....as we could attain); and the dynamics of Schauberger's "golden plough" ( the unusually-shaped plough share he claimed modified and enhanced the actual fertility and/or growth characters of the soil. I have neither the time...nor the energy...to discuss all the trials and tribulations involved in these exercises, but will attempt a very brief Executive Summary of the general results. First, we were able to, quite successfully, replicate Schauberger's claims for regeneration of longitudinal vortices he claimed occurred naturally...in streams. We were able to verify his laminar flow characterizations, his longitudinal turbulance vortices and his transverse vortices.....claims. The longitudinal vortex characteristics and the "weir-effect" of river-bend geometry....proved the most fascinating. Although our experiments utilized scale-model apparatus, in view of the difficulty of reproducing a truly "natural" waterway.....we feel confident we achieved an acceptable fascimile of natural occurrence. Next, we were especially intrigued at prospects of being able to generate an actual change in structural form...as well as the bioactivity of water. We were able, under scanning electron microscopy examination, to determine that---indeed---such modifications were quite easily achieveable. Through utilizing ordinary tap water, subjected to implosion-type influences (in the principal case passing water through a vortex while, simultaneously, being subjected to a static magnetic field).....we generated a product which was used in further evaluations. We first manufactured physical devices which resembled the actual form of an inverted vortex and filled them with the "implosion modified" water.....and sealed them back up. These devices proved quite effective in modifying the characteristics of water occupying other adjacent systems (and this WITHOUT any manipulation other than being placed in a distinctive geometric, physical, relationship to the target system). e.g. heating/air conditioning, etc,....but most strikingly, common drinking water emerging from a local tap. Our controlled studies revealed that such "conditioned water" did, indeed, have a pronounced positive influence on the growth characteristics of plants----and the health maintenance of selected domestic pets and livestock......sometimes, dramatically so. Other than the measureable change in dyne measurement (directly reflecting the surface tension characters), we found absolutely no objective parameter changes.....beyond the original variations of structural character. However, Kirlian photography clearly demonstrated that this Implosion-modified water exhibited increased energy patterns with a distinctive improvement in both the visible quality and distribution of the corona......of the "modified" water. We conducted these examinations several years ago. I am now informed that there are presently (2002) organizations marketing production devices as commercial enterprises.....which capitalize on the above-mentioned characteristics. Additionally, we conducted investigations on the effectiveness of the geometrically-modified plowshare, named the Golden Plough, which was developed by Viktor Schauberger. Besides the observable, but unexplainable superiority of the tilth of the soil conditioned by being plough with this instrument, another, fascinating character manifested. There appeared measureable differences in the electrical potential of soils ploughed by conventional ferrous metal ploughshares.....and the Schauberger plowshares (copper an/or bronze-phosphor). However, the ploughshare which yielded....by far.....the most impressive results, was one which emanated from our fabrication and testing of a design called the Bio-Plough (bronze-phosphor metal) inspired by Schauberger and designed by a German engineer named Jurgen Sauck. The device was quite costly for us to manufacture, but the results it furnished were astonishing. Besides thoroughly working the most biologically-active soil zone (upper 3") in a non-compressing manner (similar in effect to underground digging mammals).....the plants raised in the furrow-system created by this ploughshare were IN VERY CASE superior to plants from the same seed stock----which were raised in the interspersed rows ploughed with conventional steel ploughshares. By superior, I mean 40% yield increase in some cases, attributable solely to the plowing protocol involving this unique plow. It is most unfortunate that this Bio-Plough is, to my knowledge, not available anywhere in the World----at present. We did contemplate evaluating the Spiral Plough Schauberger was instrumental in having designed, but the cost of construction proved to be too expensive for the anticipated knowledge to be gained. I apologize for not elaborating more, as this area of endeavor is one in which we spend most of our effort and money, but I have reached my personal fatigue limit for the present, and am confident have exhausted the "attention span" of all the readers. Sincerely, Brooks Bradley. Kevin Nolan wrote:
