Did you use an eye cup?  (I haven't had the problems discussed, but I
have an eye cup for use when I feel I might be getting an infection,
and I use CS with a tiny pinch of pure salt added -- I'd use Dr.
Grossan's solution but I don't know if it would make bad compounds.)
