States do require rabies vaccine. You are OK, as long as they don't come knocking at your door, as long as you don't try to kennel them, as long as they do not need surgery, as long as they do not bite anyone...what you can do is verify whether or not they will accept titres to prove coverage. If the state will accept titres that verify coverage, have the titres done rather than the vaccination.
