We are clients of Dr. Fudens and have been for over 4 years now. Anyone considering him just don't throw out your vets especially if they are good. Dr. Fudens provides information, advice and overall plans on keeping your animals healthy. If you have an ongoing issue with a pet he can help get it under control. BUT they do not really do any testing, lab work, etc. you still need your vet for these types of things.
By the way in Florida Dr. Fudens recommends that Heartgaurd NOT PLUS plain heartgaurd is much less toxic and the better choice then any heartworm medication. He also believes that the treatment using Heartgaurd is much better idea and not such a big deal then to have a dog get heartworm and then deal with it. He is a great guy and after one visit with him he could sell you ice cubes even if you were in Siberia. He is a man that believes in what he does!
