Nosodes are made from diseased tissue or bodily fluids but not from Viruses. Nosodes are not intended to be used like vaccines, That goes against the basic philosophy of Homeopathy. I'm sure one can find homeopathic practitioners who disagree with the previous statements and I am speaking about classical homeopathy when I say these things. Many classical homeopathic practitioners will not even use nosodes. Those who will, use them only in the presence of an epidemic. That is to say when one is literally surrounded by some disease. Not just because some disease is known to exist in the area and may occasionally strike. I am no expert on homeopathy but I am learning more about it by the day. There has recently been a discussion of the subject of nosodes on the just say no to vaccines list at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/jstsayno2vaccs/ There are several homeopathic practitioners on that list and lots of helpful information. This subject has been discussed on that list on a number of occasions. Finally let me say that homeopathic remedies are not risk free. They should not be taken lightly but treated with the same "respect" used with any "medication". If one doesn't KNOW what one is doing, re homeopathy, one should leave it up to a qualified homeopathic practitioner.
