Silver is not a heavy metal. It is a transition metal. > How can you > explain away their point that all evidence states silver as a heavy metal? > I tried a search in the archives...could not come up with specific, simple > answer. > I have never seen any reliable document that says it is a heavy metal. The definition covers metals of a certain atomic weight, and silver is less than that weight. It is easy to prove. Take some photographic paper and put it in the sun under UV light, and take a developed photo and do the same. Then put them both in some developer, caffine or coffee is fine. The negative which contains silver compounds will turn completely black. The developed photo which contains silver particles, ie. very large colloidal silver, will fade to white while in the sun (it can take some time), and remain white when put in developer. The process is the same, the result is the same, the chemistry is the same. Marshall -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver.
