CS Enthusiasts, Eight months ago an oral surgeon told me (I'm 51) to have a sideways wisdom tooth removed, or run the risk of infection to the bone, via an opening pocket between gums and teeth. I didn't have time to schedule this before my family's return to South Asia (secretly happy because I was just plain scared) and the doctor gave me a prescription for penecillin, he said wouldn't expire for one year. The country we live in has questionable capacity in this type of procedure. Then I found out about CS, started chewing on the other side of my mouth and gargling for 6 to 12 minutes, once daily. Now I've made a short matter long.
I'd love to hear some viewpoints as to what works best for gargling: How many times daily? And does it regenerate the tissue between gums and teeth? Is it likely my 12 mm. pocket could get smaller? I want to get a second opinion from a dentist in this country, who hasn't seen the pocket. Am I dreaming? Does CS help with bad dreams? Thanks again.
