At first they all thought it was doing good things. One thought her hair was getting thicker although none of us could see it. She also thought her husbands diabettes was getting better. Then after taking it constantly for several years (unsure how many) his blood sugar went high and he was complaining of headaches. They now think he may have a brain tumor but he cancelled the last doctors appointment. Not sure how this one will turn out. We all got our start from him. At this point only one at work is still taking it. The idea is it puts good bacteria back into your system. Doubtful the Kombucha caused it though in my mind. I didn't see any effects from it on me. You need to be big on sterilizing equipment when doing this as we tried making it at work and letting it sit and all we developed at work was some scarey black mold and poured it out. Any kind of mold isn't good and the whole batch needs to be destroyed. I did use a 2 liter bottle of it several times on a shrub I had that had some kind of bugs on it that all the bug sprays for plants wasn't killing. The bugs seem to be dead now and the plant is recuperating finally and looking good. This is the only thing positive I have seen from the Kombucha tea. There is a Kombucha list too....[email protected] They even discuss Colloidal silver on occasion. They even say you can't turn grey from all the modern methods of making silver. LOL K FAQ - http://w3.trib.com/~kombu/FAQ/
