They all make CS of acceptable (in fact good) quality. DC has the advantage of being safe, and not requiring a lot of expensive equipment. AC has the advantage of sometimes producing a product with better stability, and of making CS at a much higher rate than DC at the expense of more cost, and dangerous voltages.
