Dear Jack -

George Monbiot of the British publication "The Guardian" is the author of
this article, not I. My reason for forwarding this article was strictly to
show people how low GM companies will go to promote their cause, not to
promote or degrade any political party or political philosophy. GM companies
(especially Monsanto) have a history of corruption when it comes to
promoting dangerous products, starting with their introduction of Aspartame
(Nutra-Sweet) to the world.

Regarding the British definition of Libertarianism, I can't confirm but I
suspect it has a different meaning in Britain. I'll grant you that Philip
Morris, Pfizer and Dow Chemical are about as far from Libertarianism ideals
(as defined in the US) as they can get. That's all I want to say on
Libertarianism - this list is not the place to discuss politics, nor do I
have the time to do so.

Best Regards,

John Draper
