CS Gang, I've heard a lot of debate with this group of the scientific method and what is documented as a basis for believing information. Silver is an element so it is not subject to FDA jurisdiction. In sales, you sell what you have. Drug companies and doctors aren't going to push silver even though it is one of the safest healing agents for many human ailments. We have to use it and be aware that when we take a lot, our bodies may be overwhelmed with the die off of pathogens. We have to listen to our bodies armed with our research, our experiences and the experiences of others. This came from drclark.net FYI. I use CS in addition to cures of Dr. Clark. I value her research. Drug companies and the AMA may use the scientific method in their research but their intent is to make a profit and have a dramatic effect in a short amount of time. This can run counter to what is safest for our bodies over a long period of time. Sylvia
2. New England Journal of Medicine Will Now Accept Biased Journalists The New England Journal of Medicine, along with the Journal of the American Medical Association and the British Medical Journal, is one of the most prestigious medical journals. Its policy up to now has been that the doctors writing and reviewing articles had to be independent, i.e. they do not receive money from drug companies with an interest in the products. Now, this policy is about to be changed. The Journal claims it is too hard to find any independent writers -- even though the former editor of the Journal says he never had trouble finding independent authors. Find the whole story here: http://abcnews.go.com/sections/wnt/DailyNews/NEJM_policychange020612.html The drug companies are spending over $2 billion a year just for events for physicians. An investigation of clinical studies has shown that the drug company funded studies find over 90% of the studied drugs effective while non drug company funded studies find only 50% of the substances effective. It is well known that money can buy any "scientific" result, therefore the independence of the journals has been very important. Now, even that last barrier falls. The pharmaceutical companies will laugh all the way to the bank... -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver.
