Our granddaughter, who is 8 came down with a bladder/kidney infection last Sunday. Our daughter gave her lots of CS and cranberry juice. A few hours later she started running a fever of 103, and her kidney started hurting quite severely. Her mother then called the doctor, who made an appointment for her Monday morning.
That night her fever broke, and she went to the doctor's office without any symptoms. They tested her and said she had no infection. My daughter said that the cs she gave her must have cured her, and the doctor said he had no idea what that is, but he is hearing a lot of his patients say that now. The only thing I can think of is that the increase in symptoms was a herx reaction.
