better choice in quality output or convenience and features?
You can make as much CS as you want no matter what kind of generator you
use just need a bigger container to make it in just takes longer to brew. I
use a 90+ oz glass jar with a spigot on it that I bought at walmart for
about $5. Just use whatever you have on hand although I believe glass is
the recommended container material. I remember a post a few months ago that
dealt with switching polarity I think the person that wrote it said
switching every 60 seconds seemed to work about the best. Advantage is you
don't need to clean the wires but takes a little longer to brew. Current
regulating or limiting is a good idea helps you get much smaller particles.
* Would one that uses a small transformer, introduces air bubbles, or
incorporates a timing relay or some other features that you may know of
prove more satisfying or perhaps produce a superior quality CS more
effectively?
I don't stir or use air bubbles, but I've heard it helps. I've been
thinking of building a solar cell array so I don't have to buy batteries
but would cost me more then what I'm spending now on batteries. If you have
any ideas just try them if it works good let us know:)
* Do you recommend any other testing devices for quality control, or
are these really an unnecessary expense for my limited production when
produced within the more customary given parameters?
Digital multimeter for checking current(measure in series) and
voltage(measure in parallel), and a laser pointer for checking tyndell
effect gives you an idea of amount of particles/ particle size although you
really don't need anything extra just helps you make it more consistent and
have some idea of how strong it is. Also checking current when 1st starting
gives you an idea of how pure water is I usually use walmart water and
starting current is about .5ma with wires 2.5" apart and using 3 9v batteries.
* I would appreciate your recommendation for the name of the supplier
that you spoke of for the .999 silver wire.
I got mine at a jewelry store. You can also check on ebay or get silver
bullion coins. If you go to a jewelry store go to one that does custom work
or repairs most of the big chain stores I've went to wouldn't or couldn't
get it for me.
Thank you,
Chris
Hope this helps you if you need more specific info let me know.
