I have a couple of units that something happened to not sure what as a result they are very slow which results in a real clear solution I also use the maple leafs I have used 6 volts also The trick was to start with coins close and move them out as CS gets stronger My advice is to get a tester for the CS and a good automatic voltage machine I started out with several different voltage transformers I had It was fun at first but it wore off and I valued my time so I bought the constant amperage machine (they control amps by reducing voltage) There are a lot of good CS makers out there on the net Bob -----Original Message----- From: John Pannell [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, June 26, 2002 10:12 PM To: [email protected] Subject: CS>Slow Process
On Wednesday, June 26, Robert Medwith said: Currently I make my own CS along slow process It takes almost a week to make a gallon of exceptionally clear CS to a strength of 20 to 25 PPM... This sounds interesting. Would you mind sharing more details? I'm a newbie to this discussion and to CS. I just made my first batch using a 6 volt transformer & Canadian Maple Leaf electrodes.
