List, I was using the Silvergen machine again for the first time in several months, and checked out the water beforehand with the Hanna TDS device Trem sold me with the machine. The water checked out at a good, low figure of 1.2.
At the middle setting, the Silvergen machine produced, according to the meter, 5.5 ppm. Based on the recommended multiple of 1.2, that would be 6.6 ppm at the middle setting. If memory serves me that was about what the promotional literature claimed . . . The product is perfectly clear, with no sludge buildup on the silver anode or cathode. The water tastes to me the way that slightly tarnished silverware smells and tastes. Not unpleasant but definitely metallic. I think the machine is a good one and would recommend it. I have no connection to the company. JBB -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver.
