Ole Bob gives his regards to the list once again. He mentioned something
about re-subbing in the near future.

So, he made the top for my 4 gallon brew tank. He uses a 12K 60ma neon sign
transformer which was used to run the first test batch for 5 hours. 9.9ppm
with virtually no TE.

My transformer is a 15K 30ma....so we decided to take samples during the
first brew with it, samples taken at 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 hours. Of course, I
stirred it up well before grabbing my sample....

Results were so inconsistent that Bob suspects 1. big differences using
15k/30, 2. stirring between samples caused the results.

An example, the final batch after 10 hours (which was stirred every 2 hours)
was 8.6ppm. Yet, a batch made for 6 hours without stirring yielded 16.7ppm.
Go figure.

So, needless to say, this intrigued Bob to such a degree he now gonna test
this out, stirring every hour and plot and see what the real deal is. He
has never stirred a batch using the HVAC Arc method until the very end,
which, if one is watching closely, it is a mesmerizing site watching
stratified water mix.

Funny, during the testing on the first sample, he mumbled "hmmm, I'm a
little concerned you have nothing here" and I tell ya I felt like a school
kid failing a test that I thought I did good on.

Happy Brewing...
