Hi Karen, Perhaps I should reply to this one. All you need is distilled water and a vessel to make the CS in. Everything else is provided including a 4 page instruction sheet and an extra set of electrodes. You'll be able to make between 100 and 300 gallons of the finest quality CS before you need replacement electrodes.
You cannot use well or tap water. You must use either distilled or if you can find it, de-ionized water. Sometimes distilled water that has been ozonated will work but it's best to get plain distilled water. Never use distilled water that has been carbon filtered. It has too much conductivity in most cases. Simpler is better. Under a buck a gallon in most stores.
