Marc, You might like to replace the TDS1 meter with something more accurate, like the PWT, which is accurate to 4% of the full scale reading of 99.9 rather than 4% of 999. Also, a reading in microSeimens, and charts of conductivity vs concentration for the different metals you supply electrodes for, may be a better idea because a TDS meter calibrated for a specific metal will give a false reading for all other metals.
Regarding colloidal gold... Do your generators output an ionic or true colloid solution? A true colloid will not have any conductance, and unfortunately ionic gold is thought to be toxic. Might be worth looking into.
