Hi Chip, I'm really sorry to hear about your dog.

I don't know what sort of diet you have your dog on but something you
can do to help fight the cancer is eliminating all excess carbohydrates
from the diet. That means no grains, no root vegetables, etc. Of course
this means you would have to stop feeding kibble as all kibbles are
largely grain, in most cases about 60% or more. Grain is the last thing
you want your dog to have even when there is no cancer. That would mean
switching to a raw meat and bone based or at least home made diet free
of all grains, potatoes, winter squash, carrots, fruit etc.

CS has proven to be helpful with many cancers, so giving your dog CS
instead of water would also probably be a help.

On the CSCats-Dogs list right now there is an ongoing thread about a
couple of dogs suffering with bone cancer. The cancers described sound
very similar to that which you describe. One woman is using CS IV via a
catheter. AND, believe it or not, she's doing it under the care of a DVM
who showed her how to inject the CS into the catheter!! It is very
possible one of these people could offer you some helpful advice. The
CSCats-Dogs list is at

IHTH and good luck in fighting this.
