Hi Craig ~

Are you feeding these cats kibble or canned food?  I'd bet a raw food diet
would clear up the gum problems, tho most likely CS will surely help, their
diet is most likely why they have gum problems, especially if they ALL have
gum problems.

Giving them raw meat, BARF (biologically appropriate raw foods), SARF
(species appropriate raw food), etc., gives their gums needed exercise.
We've got 16 outdoor country cats and kittens who have wonderful teeth and
gums, but they are exercised with appropriate foods, including gophers they
and I both catch, rodents, etc.

I have only added CS to their water, when a kitten's eye was gunky, so never
done it on a regular basis.  Would like to hear what others have to say and
if you find out what's causing this.
