I was one of the merchants from the first batch of letters they sent, and I still get a letter from them (or the FTC) about once every three months or so, telling me I need to change something in my advertising. I didn't get my "anthrax" letter from them till after the initial scare, however, it doesn't surprise me that some received their letter before the fact. After all, nothing happens in government or politics without being planned beforehand. From what I can tell, at least in their dealings with me, and at least for the time-being, as long as one is careful with the "claims" that are made as to efficacy of colloidal silver, or any other dietary supplement for that matter, there is no problem selling them. Gosh, by the way the write to me, you'd think I was a piece of their chattel or something!
