Jack, I have been through this a 100 times, I do not as a rule get in the discussions, except if no one offers a simple answer to a newbe's question..,,,fresh air filtered run and through a fish tank bubblier works well for even constant mixing top to bottom in my 1 Gallon Glass CS making tank,,,Its covered with a screw on cap,, a cheep Ice sun tea jar, with flip up spout to put my air hose in and close the lid as tight as I want to pinch off and regulate air flow,,2 holes drilled 3 inches apart in the lid for the silver wire to go down into the distilled water,....hooked and crimped in holes drilled in my pair of silver Maple Leaf Canadian coins used as my ANODE and CATHODE....I am not a rocket scientist, but it took me longer to right this than it did to do it,,,I am happy to report to the Group that this method works very well to produce an effective CS in a very short time a gallon at a time and that is my objective.I see the 777 colidal master is on sale for $149.00 and it will shut off if you forget. The fish tank bubblier and Oxegen Air hose, Air filter, and Air Defuser is under $8.00.... less if you shop around. So for $157. add $10.00 SH You can make hunderds of gallons of the best CS you can emagin,,,from 5ppm to 50ppm , But I use the K.I.S.S. rule my self....I shoot for under 14ppm and over 5ppm and I pre set my 777 and dial it to a #6 and get a nice 13 or 14 ppm nearly every time all automatic.
I have owned the little glass with the stirrer Ken's Cs maker..,,,the batterys and wires, CS maker,,,,one other generator similar to the model 777 but not made as well...and bottom line is: I will stay with what works best for me, and to the people who I give my extra CS , love it. It helps us all in so many ways. It does not get much simpler than this.
