have been making cs for myself and several friends. went to make a batch yesterday, and it turned real milkey in about 30 seconds. really blew my mind. the readings on my harbor freight multimeter either didn't read or was way out of balance. tried another batch, and the same thing happened. was beginning to suspect a faillure of the multimeter, and was heading to harbor freight for a replacement. i borrowed one from a friend, tried another batch with his in the loop, and the same white milkey water in less than a minute.
had another bottle of distilled water, so i tried a batch with that, lo and behold, the initial milliamps about .32 and everything was normal. apparently, i had gotten a mislabeled jug of water. whew!!! so, if those white wisps of smoke start out fast and heavy, you might suspect that your water is not a good distilled batch.
