Yes, I know all about Silvadine! Hubby had severe burns from falling into
a hot springs out in the middle of nowhere one year - he knows about
Silvadine even better than I do. <g>
Next time hubby got burned, he had a run-in with a hot radiator when the
cap blew off. I figured out what to do darn quickly after the doctor
refused to see him at the office....said he was burned too bad and should
go to the hospital. We had no insurance, so we went instead to the health
food store! (Today you could never find where he had those burns either!)
I wonder what they put in Silvadine for pain?
Anyone know if there would be a risk of having the CS react with Essential
Oils? I'm thinking there could be...it would probably have to be pretty
basic. Any chemists out there?

I have enjoyed the discussions very much. I thought that I would add to
the lotiion idea a bit.
There is a compound that is used in almost all medical facilities to treat
burns.
'Silvadine' It is a white creamy base and available by prescription only.
Good luck with the lotion idea.
