I try very hard to urge people to buy a heater/lamp with an unstirred
generator model, but they are expensive. But, I believe in them and can
hardly stand to ship a generator without one. It actually hurts my feelings
knowing that the results can be so much better and easier.
With the "new deal" placed the other day, I only make about 75 cents on
them. [maybe less]
I recently came across a place to buy the 'guts'[ light bulb, socket,
switch and plug] fully assembled and cheap enough to offer to send one free
with an order without going broke. That, at least, gives somebody a head
start on making one for themselves. You gotta make the lamp body out of a
tin can or something.
I'll be making my own lamp bodies in the next few weeks. Molds are in the
works now.
AS soon as that happens, I'll be sending a heater/lamp with every non
stirred generator. {of course, the price has to go up 'some'.}
In fact, I have a new model coming out soon [3 or 4 weeks] that's testing
extremely well and depends on thermal stirring.
As easy as the Ole Bob is to use, there are still some very few people who
can't get the hang of it.
Even the standard gen has a few tricks to master.
I'm shooting for idiot proof. [Target price is substantially less than
the Ole Bob too]

You can cut a hole in a tub-o-butter type lid that fits nearly anything
bigger than the generators diameter. All it has to do is not fall in or off.
