You are also obviously not aware that magnetrons may contain beryllium oxide.  
Usually seen as a fine white 
powder which WILL irreparably damage your lungs and lead to an early death if 
inhaled.  Because of the possibility 
of BeO or other toxic materials, you should not physically open high power 
tubes of any kind unless you know 
EXACTLY what you are doing (In which case you wouldn't open them...). Whatever 
parts you might scavenge from 
these items are not worth the risks.
