You are using incorrect logic. Just beause aspertame can cause fibromyalgia (or fibromyalgia like symptoms) does not mean that it is the only possible cause. It certainly did not cause it before aspertame was marketed. But I do believe it is one of the main, if not the most common cause now since so many people use this poison. Marshall
