Greetings again, my friends, A couple of things I'd like to comment on...
Regarding the allegedly blue senate *candidate* (no he's not a senator!) ... I may have missed one or two, but of all the pictures I've seen posted or on the web, he only looks blue in those shots where he's by himself. In the pictures where he's with other people, they *ALL* look pretty bad, and he's the same as everybody else. Is he using makeup? Is somebody making the whole thing up? All it says to me is that we need to wait and see what our sleuthing turns up. Is there a double standard? I surely hope not. There's a lot of room in politics to manipulate something like this, so it is not a given to me that the fellow has argyria. If he does, we need to learn as much as possible about what he used, how much, and how made... and perhaps guide him to the best information on how to possibly reverse the condition. Please keep looking. On another note, J. Rowland made a good point... Folks! We generated THIRTEEN digests so far on October 3rd! Some had as few as one to three posts in them, and only one had more than ten. JR, I think the biggest culprit is the jpeg photos folks were sending as part of the above mentioned threads. They add up to the 40 kilobyte digest trigger pretty fast. However, if you plan to post anything at all, folks, please take the extra time to trim your text to the bare minimum needed to give context, and learn how to turn off the horribly inefficient fancy formatting features of your e-mailer. You do not need to send HTML (web page style) e-mail to the list. Plain text is best.
