Hi Robb! I am a SERIOUS advocate of DMSO. Among many applications I have found it useful for was the little toe I recently sprained/broke?
That throbbing, neon red pain was the pits. I had "swiped it" twice daily with DMSO and can't say I noticed any improvement. Next I sprang for dampening a piece of cotton fabric in DMSO and wrapping it around the toe. >From prior experience, I knew it would make the skin peel or even blister a bit, but thought that a better alternative to the original pain. Four hours later when I removed the fabric, the toe had lost most of the discoloration and the swelling was about half. Still painful, but much improved. That was two days ago. I haven't reapplied because the skin is tender! I 'm still impressed. We use DMSO and CS on mastitis cows. The combination alleviates the inflammation and hasn't harmed the teat except to the sensory perception of the calf. Have had one out of three that was so turned off by the smell that he wouldn't nurse. No problem, we milked and bottle fed a few days. Oh, let me be clear in that I wouldn't rely on the DMSO/CS to cure the condition and did implement antibiotics. However, the cows were noticeably more comfortable and heat in udder reduced. With regard to the odor as a whole......it certainly turns off chiggers, ticks, and other cooties here in "the bug belt"! ----- Original Message ----- From: Robb Allen <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, October 09, 2002 9:22 PM Subject: Re: CS>Tylosin > Hi there...........I've tried DMSO.......I'm not gonna say it doesn't > work....but no one will hang around with me after I use > it....*LOL*...........I don't know if it would do the trick or > not........I'm also not sure if that would even be a practical solution to > getting rid of Mplasma in different parts of my body.........One thing that > I am sure of........CS kills micoplasma!!!!.....no matter what anyone > says.........I have microplasma for sure.......I'm on my second day of > Tylosin...8 ml injectable taken orally ..........{in capsules}........I > believe I am experiencing my first kill-off from it.......whether or not it > will do the trick is anyones guess.......supposedly 12 to 14 days will tell > the tale............Robb > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Jack Dayton <[email protected]> > To: <[email protected]> > Sent: Wednesday, October 09, 2002 6:12 PM > Subject: Re: CS>Tylosin > > > > > > > > > From: "Robb Allen" <[email protected]> > > > Reply-To: [email protected] > > > Date: Tue, 08 Oct 2002 05:00:42 -0400 > > > To: [email protected] > > > Subject: CS>Tylosin > > > Resent-From: [email protected] > > > Resent-Date: Tue, 8 Oct 2002 02:01:16 -0700 > > > > > > I wish there was a way for me to get > > > the CS deeper into my joints where it could do the job becuase I know it > > > kills what I have. > > ************************** > > > > Hi Robb, > > > > Have you considered DMSO? > > > > There has been a lot of posts about it recently. > > It seems that DMSO is capable of carrying CS > > through the skin and closer or even into the > > target location.
