Hi Heidrun, I Think you are on the right track. From my experience, I have drawn the following conclusions:
1. The better the water quality and sanitation procedures used, the longer it will take. 2. There are many factors involved including but not limited to: The volume of water, contaminants in the water, the voltage, the temperature, the time, the cleanliness of the container, clean electrodes, turbulence, etc. 3. A current limit resistor makes a better product but takes longer. 4. A "bubbler" or aquarium fish pump may introduce airborne contaminants that you don't need. 5. If you take measurements of conductivity or anything else using the electrodes, make sure that the wire is clean (silver oxide is an insulator) and be aware of capacitance and electrostatic discharge. Hope this helps, Andy From: Heidrun Beer <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Subject: CS>CS production - water uncertainty I have only recently started to study CS production, <snip> -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver.
