Dear Sammark4 and Bill, I have a relative who works for a large, photo journalism agency and she has told me that doctoring photos can be the kiss of death for an organization like hers. I think that not only CS enthusiasts should ber highly offended by what Associated Press allowed to fly as a news story. Also photo journalists should be incensed. I think this aspect should be played up. (I'm sorry to say that I cannot otherwise contribute to the effort.) Who knows? The journalists may even launch an investigation. Namaste, Reid, aware that news media can be highly corrupt, but aware that some journalists have a lot of integrity (innocent as a dove but wary as a fox).

I've written to Mr. Jones asking if the FAQ can be attributed to him, and if I might have permission to post it around and create a webpage with his comments.
