See below attachment.

This attachment is clean, having been scanned by latest up-to-date Norton.
It was made available by MG's work in getting the file size down.

It is from the Hach water lab handbook, published in the past couple of
years.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Precision is the fineness of detail; accuracy is the closeness with which
the "map"  matches the reality; they are in dynamic tension.  As your
observations become more precise, it is more difficult to be accurate.
The reason this slip if paper is so beat up:
It has been posted on the cabinet above my spectrophotometer for several
years.
Aside to MG.  The battle of the media readers:  they all try to wipe out the
competition and seize control of your machine to their makers favor.  Right
now, QuickTime is in control of my box.  Combine that with antique scanner
software, and I have a difficult time sending stuff in a format and file
size that the server can digest. As luck would have it, I did just what you
had asked us not to do. Thanks for shrinking the file so others can see it.
It is the easiest-to-grasp demonstration of Accuracy/Precision I have seen
