Subject: CS>Reverse Osmosis Water

I have been asked the question whether it is OK to use reverse osmosis
water for making CS. My first response was I don't think so, but maybe
I am not as informed about this as I could be. Is there a definate
answer to this and if so why?
Thanks for your help,
Nancy...

My best guess is that the longer it takes for the batch to go off, the better
the water quality is. I think reverse osmosis means pushing something through
a membrane or a filter and distilled water means seperating something with
heat. What you start out with probably makes some difference.

I don't have the "definite answer" but the below web site is fun. Fred will
test your water for free. He also has some simple home tests you can do. You
can check for metallic silver and ionic silver in your kitchen. Hope this
helps.
