I am hopeful others will have informed opinion on whether there would be increased risk of direct contact to the brain, in using CS with or without DMSO in an ear with a perforated eardrum. Two cases recently have been presented to the animal list, one in a dog, the other a rabbit, both with long standing pseudomonas infections with long term antibiotic use being unsuccessful in resolving the infections.
