Kit, I have read on other lists of using a chamber to nebulize a pet in--mostly a rubbermaid type container large enough for the pet to be comfortable in, with holes for the nebulizer hose. Also have read of people using an infant size mask for a pet. The info was concerning nebulizing rabbits with severe URIs. Most bunnies like to have/be in hidey boxes, though, I don't know what a cat would do! Let me know if you need more specifics, and I'll look to see if I saved any of those posts. I like the looks of the Omron hand held nubulizer, as it looks as if I could use it for my bunnies as well as myself. (I have a rabbit with pasturella who has a constant runny nose and sneezing, and has been on Baytril for 14 months with improvement but no remission of symptoms and would like to try nebulizing him with CS) paula ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kit" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> > > I was just looking thru the archives (will need to check the OT,too) re: > nebulizers and saw about nebbing pets. Also, I don't think I've ever had a pet get a 'cold'. Altho, > I have had them with allergies. Any comments? > Thanks, Kit
