I used to get sinus infections with every cold, but since I started using CS for colds a year ago, I put CS up my nose and have had none! It seems to work quickly to unplug my nose and kills the bacteria that would cause an infection. I also swish some CS around in my mouth several times a day when I am fighting a cold, and it takes away sore throat and prevents coughs, as well.
