Hullo Margaret B,
Thanks for the very clear method.
I wondered why you reduce voltage if you have a current limiting diode in circuit? and Do you think the intermittent current reduction has anything to do with your clear CS?
Regards,
Tony

Thank you,

Thank you for the reply's.
As requested, I have included the method I use.
Equipment:
24v reducing Transformer...1.6mA Diode...multiamp meter...2x7" Wetted
length, looped 99.99 12g Silver rods...1.1/2" apart.
1lt or 32oz Distilled water heated to 38c or 100f. Geared stirrer run on
it's own 12v reducing transformer @ 6v to output 30rpm reaching down the
full length of rods.(Actually the inner part of a large irrigation syringe
attached to cog of motor).

Method:
Start stirrer immediately. Start voltage on 24v. When multiamp meter reaches
1.6mA, reduce voltage to 18v. Again run until multiamp meter reaches 1.6mA.
Again reduce voltage to 15v. Leave on this setting until completed, usually
5 hrs.

Using this precise method with 500ml or 16oz DW.
3hrs from start to finish
Produces.. Clear, no detectable TE, 15ppm. as measured with PWT
