To make a good clean stirrer:

Wrap a silver electrode around a 1/8 diameter rod like a corkscrew, with a 1/4 pitch.
make it about 3/4 of the summered length of your electrodes in length.

Sharpen the lower end of the corkscrew horizontally to provide a smooth action when the tip enters the water, during operation.

Then wrap it tightly about one inch around a #14 house wire, now cut the insulation and remove the wire, not the insulation. This end becomes the coupling to the motor.

Use Ole Bob little dude motor with his recommended resistors.
