I have an SG6,-- you don't say how long it ran before it didn't shut off. If you just started using the SG6, I suggest that you try a new batch only just use 8 oz of DW as mentioned in the instructions. I usually bring the DW up to 100 degrees before I start, and usually add a small amount of CS from a previous batch. When you get it right, the green light will be on at the start.
